Well thanksgiving was ok...had dinner w/ my family and my sis's bf. My Marine was fortunate enough to be able to get leave and have dinner w/ his friends family. He even called me <3 I still wish he was here though.

All in all nothing much exciting happening here. I was a bad witch and didn't celebrate teh last full moon :( My friend was having a girls night party thing so i was indulging in adult beverages ^^;; Yule's comming up tho, so i guess i should get working on that...i think i might decorate this weekend if there's still snow.

Yeah, not much else to say atm...but figured i should update here. I'm just not in a very good mood today. long story short cats puked, had to clean it up, broke a glass, had to clean it up, miss my Marine terribly.

Hi everyone,

I haven't been on much cause my bf was home for 10 days of leave XD  It was soooo nice to see him again, I missed him soooo much <3  Graduation and Family Day was wonderful, he looks so good in uniform ^^  I'll post afew pics here...i have a ton up on facebook if u are on there, friend me :p  or ask for my facebook info so u can friend me ^^;; 

He left early this morning, I took him to the bus station.  Unfortunately for him he is taking the buss to NC, which involves 6 layovers and takes 24 hrs :(  He's been wicked stressed out the last few days, worrying about getting there and reporting in and his training.  I've been trying to calm him down, but I wish I could do more.  It should be better than boot camp tho, he'll have his cell..tho how much he can call i dunno...i guess the first two weeks he'll be in the field and won't have it.  But it's only 22 days of combat training...then he's off to MOS school...also in NC i think.  That will be afew months, and i guess kinda like college...so we should be able to talk on the phone and stuff..maybe on line...if he can get on a computer or gets a laptop.  Then he'll be actually in the Fleet...and off to gods knows where (and gods forbid the sandbox!)  Once there he'll be stationed wherever for like 3 years.  I hope it's close...tho unfortunately no Marine bases that close to VT :(  Ahh well...maybe it will be someplace that jet blue flies, cheap flights ftw!

The hard part is over i think, unless he gets Deployed...  It won't be anything we haven't done before...i guess college was just a warm up for what lay ahead.  A test perhaps, to see if we could make it.  I used to think that if we could make it until we graduated we could make it through anything, now I see that it's not that, but if we can make it through the Marines we can make it through anything.  The Marines won't just make him stronger, but me too out of necessity for being strong for myself and most importantly for him.

I've been surprisingly good today, dispite him leaving..i havent yet cried... though the nights are always the worst.  I did take today off cause i didn't know when today he was leaving and cause i didn't know how much of a wreck i'd be after he left...and when i can't concentrate at work, i make mistakes and i hate making mistakes ><

Anyway...Samhain is comming up isn't it??  I dunno what I"m doing for it... I think i'll just be around the apt, hopeing we get some trick or treater's.  As far as ritual goes...i have no idea..i looked at afew today...and also at some recipes.  I'm definately making either mulled cider or wine since i love it (well cider at least, never had mulled wine oO) other than that i dunno. 

Hi everyone i'm counting the days until I get to see my Marine for the first time (well, first time as a marine but first time seeing him in 3 months).  As of right now only 8 days left.  This time next week i'll be laying in my hotel bed not sleeping all night cause i'll be so excited ^^

But I'd love it if you guys could help me and my recruit out.  Tomorrow, well in like 5 hours or so probably, my recruit will be starting the crucible it will go until sat.  So i'd love it if you guys could spare some energy and send it his way (parris island, sc), i know he'll need it.   Thanks so much!!

Other than that don't expect to see me until the end of the month cause after graduation he gets 10 days of leave and i'll be by his side every second i'm not working, until he has to leave XD  I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
